Incorporating Your Business With Your community

It's not possible to force your business in your community. You incorporate your community with your business. This means that you'll have to change. Changes are needed within your company, your product, and even your marketing strategies.

Your Company Needs To Change
We're not saying you should overhaul your company. What we mean is that your company needs to adapt to the changes within your community. You will have to work with the people you want to reach. Your staff should be interacting with the members of your community. In other words, there should be communication between your company and your community. You need to respond to queries, discuss ideas and, most importantly, befriend members. The community should feel that your company is part of the community.
Your Products and Services Need To Change
Not all products and services are marketable (depending on your community). You need to listen to your community and see what it needs. "See a need, Fill a need". You can also encourage your community members with first time incentives, or perhaps give community members a discount. One good idea would be to automate it. If someone makes a purchase or avails of your service, you can automatically give him a community member's account.
Your Promotion Needs To Change
Your promotion should be integrated within your community. You can promote within your community members first. Also, you can ask members for ideas to make help the promotion more. In using your marketing and advertising resources, you also get to promote your community as well.
Your Website Needs To Change
Keep your website up to date. To entice your community into action, make the community elements the central elements of your theme. Encourage interaction within your site by bringing the community at the forefront of the site. Provide elements such as chat capability where members can talk about products. This is also a form of feedback that will certainly help you improve your products and services.
Your Pricing Needs To Change
Give incentives to your members, such that they will think that it is to their advantage that they are part of the community. Provide bonuses or free products to the most active community members.
There are a lot of ways of integrating your business into your community. You should consider each and every one of them. If your community is well integrated with your business, then you can be assured of its success.

Article Writing Tips

Content is King. If you want to go up the search pages, you'll need to come up with articles around your keywords. So if you think you've reached a moment where you've run out of ideas, here are a few tips that might be able to help you with more article ideas or perhaps create more content.

Break Up Big Paragraphs
If you have a long paragraph, it might be better to break them up. Put some headings and maybe you can even put more into the article.
Top Lists
Lists are always a hit especially during the start of the year. Top 10 resolutions, Top 100 To Do Before I die, etc. Look for a Top list or "Best of" list that will fit your niche.
Write Something New
Do you know something that nobody else knows? Do you have the first scoop of a story? Make sure you get it out first and you'll be a hit in the web.
Read Your articles aloud
Before pressing that send button, it might be a good idea to read your article out loud first. Doing so may help you catch some mistakes that you've made. Even the savviest writers cannot avoid making mistakes especially if their hands are getting ahead of themselves.
Write Questions
Though most content in the internet provide information, it may also be a source of information if you write an article that entices people to respond to you by answering your question.
Establish A Personality
Whenever writing, always give a part of yourself. People will know you through your writing. By establishing a persona, you'll be able to endear yourself to your readers, making them trust you more.
Create An Outline
Not unless you're an expert extemporaneous speaker, it would be helpful for you to create an outline of your articles. No one delivers a speech without following an outline. It should be the same with articles.
Use The Appropriate Style
Different niches should have different styles. You can't be professional in one session and suddenly be so casual. Look for the style that works best for your niche.
Don't Forget Your Audience
Remember that you're also writing for your audience. You want people to read them. So, make sure that when you're writing, you're considering the people that you're talking to.
With these 9 tips, we hope it'll help you create a stream of new articles.

How To Put More Into Your Blog Post

Every blogger in the world who wants to get noticed always need to find an edge to their posts. They develop a character in their posts. They try to come up with something intriguing, colorful, or even scary just to get some attention.

Whatever kind of post you write, there's always a part you that you're imparting in your posts. If you got no clue where to start, here are a few ways for you to put more of your soul in to your posts.
Have a sense of Humor
Laughter will always be the best medicine. Most people read posts to kill time. What better way than to keep them entertained

Be Creative
This is basically the content of this post. In a way, it is being redundant. The title of the post itself can easily be rewritten as "How to be more creative in your blog posts". But what I'm trying to say is that you think out of the box. Try to extend your imagination to things that you don't normally think about, things you don't normally dwell on. If you had all the time in the world, what would you be thinking about of a certain topic. You may surprise yourself with what you may write. I know I have.
Share Feelings
Some people read facts. However, some people read what people think about certain things, for some people that share the same interests. Or possibly, for people that don't share the same sentiment. Either way, it can strike a conversation, agreement or debate.
Separate personal and professional life
Once you figure out that there are two ways of projecting yourself, you'll find it easier to write. When writing professionally, you may find it easier to share facts. Personally, you may be able to share opinions easily.
All in All, Be Yourself
After you're done with your post. Whatever the outcome, it will always be a part of you.

How To Start The Year Right

2011 is just starting. Are you just starting SEO? I know that we've covered majority of the "to do" list for Website SEO. However, in case your still starting on your website, here are a few things that you should be doing...if you want to rise on top of the pile of search results.

On Site Search Engine Optmization

Everything starts at home and with Website SEO, it's still the same. In order to make sure that your site shows up in the search engines, you need to make sure that it's designed for search engines. Do not misinterpret though. When we say that it is designed for search engine, you need to make sure that your pages aren't spammy. Each of your pages should have unique page names. If you have two pages talking about a certain topic, you might as well merge both pages into one page full of content. That way, you will further increase the relevancy of your page on the topic.

Linkbuilding

When it comes to the internet, links, or backlinks as others call it, are considered the currency of the virtual world. The more links you have spread in the internet, it means the more weight you have on a certain topic. Just be sure that you spreading your links in the right community. Lately, search engines are becoming smarter, courtesy of PHDs in Google, Yahoo and Bing. They now have more intelligent systems to determine uniqueness and relevance of your site. Be careful when sending out links because you may end up blacklisted. There are two ways of doing this and they are considered White Hat SEO and Black Hat SEO. White Hat SEO is what most search engines generally consider acceptable. Black Hat SEO is what gets you banned.

Social Media

With the Social Media Boom, a lot of marketing strategies have been flooding social media networks. The logic behind this is that a lot of people are now using social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter. More people means more possible customers. If you're in the internet for money or for publicity, tapping into social media will certainly help you. It's a way for you to build up easy connections and hopefully also get a few links in the process.

Hopefully, those three things should be enough to get you up and running for 2011.

What To Expect For 2011

As we approach year 2011, there are now a lot of changes that we have to go through. With mobile technology alone, there are a lot of tablets being released that offer more than just a book reader. With these mobile gadgets, you can now interact engage in various forms of social media interaction.

Along with the sudden outburst of social media apps on various mobile gadgets, you can also expect many local businesses to start integrating some of their marketing with location based strategies. There are tools like FourSquare and Gowalla that certainly help. Mobile phones are equipped with GPS that allow local businesses to be found also when a user is navigating.

Video Streaming will be hotter than ever. With internet usage getting cheaper as time goes by and as infrastructure goes faster, it will be more practical to spend more time in front of the computer than in front of the television.

SEO will be moving towards Social Media Optimization. SEO is now a bit outdated considering that majority of the people accessing the internet is accessing it because of social media. Facebook alone gets at least 25% of the page views. If you want to be visible online, then you'll have to optimize your site for social networks like Facebook, YouTube and even Twitter. Luckily for us, these resources are all free. Of course, there are still some PPC campaigns for the hardcore marketers.

More Videos than ever. More online marketers are now using videos to keep their sites entertaining as well as interactive. Who can blame them? People respond to these sites more positively because they are an eye candy. Now, pictures do not simply cut it anymore. Additionally, because search engines put more weight on pages that have more content, meaning text, pictures or videos, you can expect the net to be flooded with more videos for promotional purposes.

What about you? Are you expecting something for 2011? Care to share your thoughts?
